Tennessee Underwriters, Inc.
(TUI) was formed in
1980 to provide property and casualty insurance products to
independent insurance agents in Tennessee. TUI markets its products
only through independent insurance agents.
With
many of our carriers, we have underwriting authority which means we
are able to respond quickly to the the needs of insurance agencies. In most cases,
quotes are given via telephone to the agent. If the risk meets
our underwriting standards, TUI can bind the coverage immediately. TUI offers excellent service
to their agents through a computerized policy issuance system and a
friendly, qualified staff. We also provide premium finance
services through its affiliate, TUI Premium Finance. In fact, most
quotes will automatically include a premium finance option for
consideration.
